1 / 6 Engine overheating can affect almost any engine, but if it happens too often, it can be deadly.
Here’s how to fix it.1.
Remove the air conditioning vent.
Remove all of the air vents that surround the engine, except the top one.2.
Plug the air conditioner in.
Plug a vent hose into the vent plug, leaving a small opening.3.
Check for leaks.
If there are any leaks in the vents, remove them.
If you have a 2jZX engine, you can also use a vacuum cleaner or an oil change.4.
Put the engine back in the car and see if the problem persists.
If not, it may be caused by another condition or by a loose plug.
